Would this be considered a bit much for a stock engine?

At what RPM?Would this be considered a bit much for a stock engine?
Nope
At what RPM?
Am hearing that the rods are our weak link. A stabbing of throttle at 2500 rpm? Am running Bridgestone RE-11s hooks decent for a street tire. Saving for built short block and a T-56.Nope. If you have the MT-82 and drive hard, yes bad for that. But there are other factors at play. 100% stock car? No problem bc you won't be able to hook up. Thus nothing breaks. If you stay at stock rev limiter you don't have to worry about opg and crank sprocket.
My pump gas tune has 700hp and 570ft pounds at 13psi. My race e85 will be at 15-16psi. Should be north of 900hp 750 foot. Hope to start than tuning today. I would look into a tr6060. Just finished that swap.Am hearing that the rods are our weak link. A stabbing of throttle at 2500 rpm? Am running Bridgestone RE-11s hooks decent for a street tire. That was the reason I asked. I've seen [not in Mustang] Rod's neck break in low RPM with high TQ or can crack the crank when the crank hasn't got into full swing.Am hearing that the rods are our weak link.
Roush 72mm pulley. On E85. What pulley are you running to get 750 Ft. Lbs.? Stock engine internals? My pump gas tune has 700hp and 570ft pounds at 13psi. My race e85 will be at 15-16psi. Also what blower setup are you running?
Even with the stock Roush pulley I would wait until 3000 rpm until wot. I grit my teeth watching dyno operators stabbing throttle well below that. That was the reason I asked. I'm running a Whipple stage 2 with the cobra jet intake. 3.225 upper pulley on 10-rib setup on VP C85. Those are projected numbers not actual yet. As I start the tuning today. That's just we're my tuner said I should be.Roush 72mm pulley. On E85. What pulley are you running to get 750 Ft. Lbs.? Stock engine internals?

I have tuned stock motors that make over 800 ft lbs with no issues.Would this be considered a bit much for a stock engine?
Your statement about OPG and Crank Sprocket is a bit fallacious.Nope. If you have the MT-82 and drive hard, yes bad for that. But there are other factors at play. 100% stock car? Have 325/30/19s RE-11s give me a bit of a decent hookup.Nope. If you have the MT-82 and drive hard, yes bad for that. But there are other factors at play. 100% stock car? 800Ft. Lbs.??? That is extreme. Track car?I have tuned stock motors that make over 800 ft lbs with no issues.
So I would say "it all depends on your tuner"
Cause its not always the power that breaks parts.
Fuel quality, Heat, timing, etc.
I agree. Rev limiter is not the only cause of breakage. Crank Jerk. For this I have an ATI Super Damper installed. https://www.lmengines.com/mod-motor-oil-pump-failures/Your statement about OPG and Crank Sprocket is a bit fallacious.
