Here are pictures of my shrink wrapped manuals.

On one side is the user manual/mini guide and part number card (also displaying instructions for the yellow tab in glove box).

On the other side is the warranty guide.

Not sure if you can see in the photos but sandwiched between the 2 books is a thin card , which is the official welcome kit note card.

Classic1967s- thank you. Yup--as I thought, sandwiched between the 2 booklets (but NOT with my pack)

On one hand silly but I'm sure someone will start a web Registry on these cars as the 50th is hit only once and 1964 is a fairly small number (and I do not think I'll be around and driving at the time of the 100th birthday).

And this kind of data can really only be captured (easily) at the time of the initial build out so great to capture the all nit picky details now. Once all the cars are delivered memories will fade. And I think it will help many with current negotiations ..if I had known a week ago before I came to final terms what I know now..dang (a due bill would have been demanded). Oh well, no fault but my own on that one.

DUH..................
Staring at my own mini kit through the shrink wrap didn't clue me in but now looking at the pic. I get it--pull the yellow tab down to open up a space for the mini-manual.

I'll look but I know my picture won't be there...my dealer was and is too clueless and the way they handled everything else wouldn't have undertaken such an effort. I made a huge effort at the dealership asking about 50th unique items--internal notices from Ford that they might give up once their 1 allotment was sold...I really asked why the instruction manual was so small with no cover...just got back blank stares and opinions that Ford was cutting back on costs... if they knew (willing to talk) about the car cover and picture they would have brought those out for bargining chips while addressing how important good scores on surveys were to them.

Someone there wanted 50th collectibles and took the cover, picture etc.

They were supposed to email me by today (bugging them since noon Monday to look for the cover or ask around as to who took it) but just silence...

Pulled the yellow tab- just more empty space.

Another question for my FAQ build
The loose item shipping bag in the trunk. It has a label with part code numbers and little 'checks' as it was bagged (mine was torn open by the dealer so exact original contents unknown).

6 items- I figure 6 as there are 6 part numbers on the bag label with little check marks- I'm aware of 5 (didn't haul the bag to my office so I do not have the list of codes with me).

1. Floor Mats (2 mats under 1 code I believe)
2. Mini-instruction manual kit (shrink wrapped)
3. Locking lugs and lock (white bag)
4. Nav SD card in a unique small case, shrink wrapped (guessing it was shipping in this larger free item bag)
5. Front License Plate holder
6???

I'm thinking 6 may be a bag of screws for mounting the front plate holder and maybe even the plate to the holder (my front plate holder was not mounted and no screws to be found except the screw job by the dealer). If correct-how many screws was I screwed out of?

Not normally this "excessive' over a car in terms of documentation but here in Cali dealers are all marking up $10,000 to $30,000 for these cars. I didn't have to pay that (got MSRP after a 4 week battle and the dealership getting no offers even at MSRP up to that point (wrong county demographic for this type of build).

But they still had their $20,000 ADM sticker on the car...which burns me...To dealership: you say it is a rare car thus you add a $20,000 ADM but then you treat it as a $16,995 Ford Fiesta...tearing open every sealed bag, manual, stealing or throw away the unique signed photo, disappearing with the unique shipping cover and when asked about the missing items you go deaf, dumb, and silent.... end of dealership rant... Time for Rachael and a meeting with the Zone Manager.

Thanks everyone!!!

There should have been a bag of screws to mount the front license plate bracket. I am not sure of official number, but would think 2-6 at most. Mine are in a sealed plastic bag within the loose item bag in my trunk.

Mine unfortunately was opened, but with my permission, due to the SD card for the NAV.

Keep in mind the front plate and screws did not come with all cars. Only if it was ordered that way (will show up on window sticker as a no cost option). Example, mine was ordered without for louisiana. Mine did not have the front plate in it when delivered. Nor is it on the sticker.

He is right, TN is the same. No front bracket, hence no screw pack. So my dealership just let me jack a couple of screws from another car in the showroom(pack had already been opened) for the rear license plate:D

Does your front bumper still have the holes (not drilled) for the front license bracket?

If all others are like mine, there are provisions for the drilling to be done, but no holes were made/show.

Great catch on those states without front plate requirements (we in Cali have the requirement but most "collector" cars run bare--with a Boss 302 cops are cool as they instantly see a unique car, not sure how the Anniversary is gonna play as it is a basic mustang to most of the public) -

I'll include the front bracket distinction it in the FAQ (I think I have all the info now for it)--a simple FAQ of what the cars are like when they leave the factory so buyers of cars just now arriving or in transit can bug their dealers to preserve as necessary.

I presume the cars are still shipped with thin plastic overs on the steering wheel (like a long funny hair net for the steering wheel and front seats). Long long gone on most cars unless your there at shipper unload. So I'm not going to include that info.

Window MSRP sheets--loose with the car and dealer installed or at the factory during the build process?

All interior should have been plastic covered: steering wheel, horn, front seats, door handles, visors, rear view mirror, touch display, two center gauges, and front carpet sections.

By MSRP sheets, are you referring to the actual window sticker? They would have been put on at the factory, along with a bumper quality/parts production label. If you received a manual there was most likely a no manuals in reverse on trailer warning sticker too.

My car had various miscellaneous build sheets and barcode stickers in the car that I (and my dealer) manged to preserve during PDI.

Window stickers are applied at factory. Adm stickers at the dealership.

My dealer even ordered me a new window sticker. I have the original that is imperfect (and a picture of my car and sticker at FRAP awaiting prepping for ship, got lucky) and a brand new, still sealed in envelope copy. Your dealer can get that for you. They got mine free of charge.
