Not Bad.

From the article:
The 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine of the ‘Stang was taken to over 400 ponies and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm), which is quite a long way from the factory stock rating of 310 hp and 320 lb-ft (312 Nm).

Just a type-o I am sure, someone fat fingered the numbers. Impressive numbers from the EB, especially when they are saying "well" into the 400's with TQ.:)

Also wasn't that 400hp to the wheels? If so it doesn't really make sense to compare it to the crank numbers

Idk I think they meant at the wheels because a tune only EB can make 317hp at the wheels and this car has several bolt on upgrades on top of the bigger turbo

That's not a real "article" FFTEC posted all that info on this forum back in December. They have already been testing a larger turbo for some time now with higher numbers...

Those are wheels numbers but so far under load everyone is having fueling issues as the hpfp can't keep up. Check out the 2.3L sub forum for more info from several different vendors.

SOO, correct me if im wrong, but 400whp with an upgraded turbo, bolt-ons and tune? That's not very impressive, to me. That is what? 110 hp over stock whp? I feel like it should be higher, coming from an import world that sees massive improvements from bigger/aftermarket turbos. Perhaps, i am being pessimistic, but ill keep my 5.0 and all its raw v8 power.

Considering the fact that intake and tune EBs are running 12.7/12.8 1/4 miles this is at least a high 11s car. Pretty impressive to me

Keep in mind that these numbers were from December...

Not bad, but not impressive. In my opinion, anyway.

Didnt know that part, so is this same car making more power now? I do know that they're supposedly capable of roughly 600whp? At least, that is the rumor i heard. Those are solid numbers for a stock block, if it is true.

I'm sure they'll at least have swapped out the rods for forged ones by now
