Just can't get enuff!
^Yup... that's like winning a small lottery prize. No ADM on an R is absolutely fantastic... holding Aces so to speak. Serendipitous! :clap2:

Actually I do know of one in Chicago but it has a huge ADM....$60K. I put it in a thread a few days ago but it didn't garner any attention. If you want the particulars let me know. I think it is too much for what ever that's worth...
I concur. That's obscene.

If any of you gentlemen stumble upon an available "R" allocation for late 2016 please let me know. I don't mind waiting because I hope to keep this car for 30+ years. And, there is always 2017.

Thanks
I know of a couple of 2016 R models for sale but their ADM is $20K and that was as of a couple of days ago.

Maybe gone by now but never know?

Good luck with your search!

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I would say $20K ADM is not bad for an R model. A bit of a gamble I guess...

My car....I'm hoping that it gets pull when the ZONE MGR's start pulling them again. However I read in some post that, because of the 2 month lag time, they have or might have done away with this?..Not sure how the lag time has anything to do with the cold tire issue...but if it means I get my car sooner, I will agree with any reasoning......P.S. I can not wait to hear your impressions of your car.
My R model just recently got pushed out 2 months and when I asked Ford about it they would not either confirm nor deny that the Sport Cup 2 tires was the issue?

All I can say is "Good Luck" and I hope to hear some good news very soon from you!

Crazy good looking. There is really no color combo (other than the superman) that doesn't work....

Based on today's market place I suggest that this may even be on the low side but obviously still a lot of money.

How did people get an R for MSRP? I heard one person say they did and he thinks one another person did as well. Is that only though special dealer connections?

A combination of being in the right place at the right time and also having a special relationship with your local Ford dealer along with being a long time and loyal supporter of the Ford brand.

Not really much different than what Ford will be doing with the 2017 Ford GT except that Ford will hand pick all of the eventual owners for the upcoming 2017 Ford GT based on prior years of loyalty to the Ford brand.

I am in Canada and R's are going for ADM's here Also.
I got mine at MSRP and was a combination of all those things,
I was first on the list, long time relationship and amount of cars I have bought.
Only person above was owner, he really didn't realize what it was and said ya no problem.
Now he is trying to get one LOL, I think it has been done.
Canada will likely see less than 40 of these in 2016.
Oh I count lucky to :)

Edit: It seems all GT350's are going for MSRP, at least here, so far.

Okay, I will pile on. So, I also noticed the "DO NOT TOUCH" sign on the orange GT350. If I remember correctly, it was written on both the front and back of the car.

It was locked, understandably so, because I wanted to get a closer look at the Tech Pack seats. This is the closest I have gotten to the real car other than the Liquid Blue R at the NYC auto show last winter.

What I found interesting is there were 5 or 6 sales people chewing the fat at the elevated sales desk and not one of them came over to speak to me about the car. It is for sale after all.

I wasn't too offended because as I mentioned in another post, Comp Orange isn't my color. However, I am in tech sales, I was dressed professionally, and I was alone really looking over the car. Not one person approached me. For all they knew I could have been ready to buy on the spot.

Fortunately for me I have time on my side and I will continue my search for a 2016 or 2017 R allocation.
Simply put, they suck. I went there in my Wimbledon White 50th anniversary Limited edition 2015 once just to take a look around. So I saw they had another 50th anniversary car and I was checking it out to see what number car it was (1315 was that car, mine is 1310). A sales person came over to me and said "You can't afford that car. especially with the 10k ADM on it". Granted I was wearing a bud light t-shirt and jeans, but I pointed to mine in the lot, flipped him off, then left. There was once decent sales guy there who I got my truck from back in 2012 and since he left, I refuse to buy from them.

That reminds me of a story, A friend of mine, started a painting business.
After a few years and growing the company, he goes into dealer in old
beat off truck ( Ford Courier) in painter whites, looked like a bum.
None of the sales guy would go to talk to him, so he asked lot guy about pricing.
Long story short, he went and seen owner, bought 10 trucks that day and made sure lot guy got the commission
Moral of the story is, you never really know who your talking to;)
