Hello all. First post. I just picked up a 2016 Mustang GT auto. It has the factory 20" wheels with 265/35/20 tires on it. Has anyone ran 275/40/20 tires? Do they fit in the wheel wells fine without looking stuffed in there? I know it'll change the speedo and shift points a little bit but I'm a little concerned about the sidewall heights on the factory size.

Thanks!

I suppose in theory, it would work. Shouldn't have any fitment issues, although it may look a little weird, may be enough to throw off the ABS if you don't match the front. I personally wouldn't recommend it and usually when you go wider, you have to drop the sidewall size to match the overall diameter you're trying to achieve. Take a look at the screenshots below of a tire size calculator I plugged the sizes into to see a true difference.
