does anyone know what "received at Ramp 5M, New Boston, MI." means? The Ford Customer service person did not give me more that that.

Does it mean the car is loaded on a train and moving? I received my "Shipped" email over a month ago but the car hasn't moved.

If you think waiting and waiting and waiting for a Mustang to be built, shipped and delivered to a dealer is bad, then read on.

My Shadow Black 2022 GT Premium Convertible was ordered 4/10, blend 6/30, built 7/1, shipped (by truck) 7/2 and delivered to the dealer in NC on 7/21 after some strange “pauses” along the way. In terms of some of the dates shared in this thread, that doesn’t seem too bad, does it? But after arrival it was discovered the paint on the hood had been damaged! Looked like sap marks or hot diesel exhaust particles had been sitting on the hood and etched the paint in at least 10 spots, and there were two slight dents! There were no such marks anywhere else at all. None whatsoever. The dealer was very responsive and arranged for repair. The body shop determined the hood would have to be repainted and that hasn’t happened yet, but is expected soon. Arrangements had been made to have full front end and other areas of coverage done with X-pel Ultimate Plus as soon as the vehicle was received. That had to be cancelled and the excellent installer we’ve used plenty of times before indicates the new paint on the hood, once it’s done, will need to “off gas” for 30 days before the X-pel should be applied. So, when the new hood paint is done and I finally have the car back, it will sit in my garage unused for a month after which the PPF will be installed and I can finally drive it. Maddening, absolutely maddening.

My car is completed, but not yet released. Order Tracking not yet updated to BUILT, but hopefully today. Update this morning from Ford Performance:

I do see that it is listed as In Production / Produced. It has to be released yet, however it is showing an ETA at your dealer of August 13thto the 19th.

Yeah - gotta say, I'd rather have my mustang (3.5 months after ordering) and have to have some work done to it (by a very responsive dealership) than wait over half a year for one, and for some people - 9 months or more.

Good try though!! lol

I've been following your posts because I'm literally a few days after you on everything. My blend date is today. So your posts make me know what to expect in a few days.

It's also great seeing everybody's excitement on this thread, and knowing I'm not the only one excited about my ordered mustang

Ordered 1 22' GT Premium 401A PP1, Oxford White, Showstopper Red Recaro's and 6 Spd. 3/31/22
- Blend date of 08/02/22

Ordered 1 22' GT Premium 401A PP1, Oxford White, Black Recaro and 10 Spd 5/20/22
- Blend Date of 08/02/22,

However the dealer mistakenly kept the performance rear wing on the 10 Spd, and that's a deal breaker for me, they were awesome and re ordered to the correct specs and are looking to get priority pushed for the mistake.

I'm indifferent to the 10 speed or 6 speed, whichever comes first and I like more will be the keeper while the second will get used for a few months and traded in on a 23' Wrangler Rubicon order I have in,

Also having both will give me time to learn the nuances of the auto vs manual and determine which I want to keep long term as this is more of a collections item, Heritage piece to commemorate the American " Hot Rod " and " V8 " as the days are numbered,

I finally got a build week of Aug 15 (ordered March 29) for my rapid red Coastal Edition premium convertible. Delivery is estimated to be the last week in September. I ordered from a large dealer in Houston that primarily seems to sell F150s, police vehicles, and work trucks.

Hey everyone, just wanted to give an update for anyone that remembers my previous posts.

As I explained before, I did not end up purchasing my order upon delivery due to financial obligations. It was a 301A 10R80 5.0 Oxford White that I’m sure is now roaming the streets with a happy owner.

My search and Mustang journey did not end there though. I found a used 2018 Kona Blue with 10k miles. Price was significantly lower being used and an older MY. 10R80 301A 5.0 with brand new Firestone Indy 500s.
Previous owner was an older gentlemen who I was told traded in for a CT5 Blackwing. Still has some time left on the power train and corrosion warranties that I should probably extend.
This baby drives like a dream! I am so happy now.
