I think that one is going to be the alternative to mine. I’m sure I will run upon that at a car show.

I was going to get “GT500CM” CM for Charlie McHose, the designer of the 1967 GT500. I knew him, before he passed. Was going to do it to honor him. Then I saw that GT500HE was available and jumped on it like someone yelled fumble!!

Secured it in January, was finally able to transfer the plates to the 500 yesterday.

Since the 2020 is sold I’m transferring the SHLBYTX to the HE.

Maybe it was the lighting but it was noticeable in person

Don't know about this car but... the bumper covers, mirror caps and other body color parts are painted with different batches of paint and even different components (flex agent, etc.). They almost never are an exact match but often close enough most people don't notice. When I had my OTT stripes painted, I had both bumper covers repainted since they already had to prep, stripe and re-clear them and they already were painting the spoiler and strut brace body color. So, very little extra cost to reshoot the bumper covers body color before laying the stripes.

The manager told me he was getting this. The thing about this dealership is that they get a healthy dose of S. America buyers who have money to burn. So this ADM is going nowhere

The side stripes are only on vinyl OTS HE cars not the painted stripes

No painted over the top stripe has vinyl side stripes—Ford said the paint doesn’t match the vinyl. They don’t have painted side stripes because it already cost enough for Penske to paint the over the top side stripes.
