Definitely an alternative. Lot of cool cars that can be had and enjoyed. Not collectibles, more like Chevelle SS clones and other muscle care clones. Im swaying that way a bit these days if this shit keeps up.

Not to mention, my sales rep from Dodge where I bought my SRT is telling me they are not seeing this bad of a supply issue. New kitty cats are 8 weeks from order. But alas, i want my Mach 1 to play with my stick.

Absolutly true to fact - I can get my hands on a 2021 WB Scat Pack Charger in about three days if I want it but like you I wanted to complement my GT500 with a Mach 1 6 speed... Grrrrrrrrrr, but I may do the Scat

So we didn't get any 2021 GT500s cancelled. But in the note Ford sent us, if a 2021 got cancelled, then the dealer would receive an extra 2022. Especially because a lot of dealers only receive 1 GT500 a year, it would be a tough deal to get your only 1 cancelled. I believe they are going to try to prioritize those orders as well. But it's not an automated thing. The dealer will need to re-enter the order for 2022.

Whoever told you that must have struggled to keep a straight face. I can promise you it would be all over the gt500 sub forum and I’m not seeing anything there at the moment……

Don't forget that ADM is negotiable. That $7500-10000 ADM could be dropped down to $1000 or $2500 if they think you are serious. I know that is still more than some are willing to pay. On a car with $4k ADM I would be hitting them hard to drop it if it was what I wanted.

Maybe from some dealers. I went back and forth with the dealer I purchased my 2014 GT from and they would not budge off the $5k ADM and this was to place an order. I don't think it would have been possible for me to be more serious about a purchase. All they did was delay my ordering from Granger.

Here's one reason why I was told this: (because of the suspensions they are forecasting to take place when workers refuse the VAC) which may or will create further delays and the pulling of resources in order to fill orders of more popular vehicles like the F150 and SUV's "Broncos" - word is the 2021 could be the last year of the GT500 and possibly MACH 1's as well - I'm just sayin'

I think anyone knowing any different should post up here please - I am waiting on a MACH 1 order and Bronco and my patience is running out as with most others here ...

Don’t think for a moment that the vaccine mandate is going to make any difference. The great majority of line workers are not going to give up their union jobs for this.

As an example look at what happened in New York.
“NYC police unions warned vaccine mandates would pull 10,000 officers off streets. So far, the number is 34.”

That may be true, but they will certainly use all the PTO/disability/retirement/leave of absence they have to delay any decision they may have to make.
