Love the pictures, thanks for sharing
Happy to share! I have a photo shoot scheduled for later this summer that’s a surprise but it should top this accidental one by a mile!

The finish on your S6 should be streets ahead of the Ford.
Yeah it’s not even close. But that car was almost $30k more than my Mach 1. I do think Ford could tighten up tolerances to control things like door gaps and produce a better product without breaking the bank though. When I picked up my car my wife noticed how much tighter and consistent the gaps were on the Audi in comparison. Oh well, this mustang puts a huge smile on my face every time I’ve pulled it out of the garage. And it get so much more attention than the s6! I absolutely love it.

Got really lucky yesterday and attended a local cars & coffee with a friend and his Infiniti Q60 red sport. Just so happened to have an empty spot next to my car when a 1970 Mach 1 pulled in! My wife ran over and asked him to park next to us. Ended up talking to the owner for about 2 hours which was the highlight of the meet. Jay has owned his 70 since 1971 and it still wears the original paint in addition to being powered by it’s original 428! It only has 35,000 miles on it. He told me he can give me the story behind every scratch and ding on it :) Was a real pleasure hearing an old timer share the history of this beautiful car. I’m looking forward to seeing Jay and his car at more events over the summer.
It was so cool seeing the similarities that the 2021 shares with the 1970. When parked next to each other it’s undeniable the DNA these two cars share.
Only had my phone with me so pictures are not the best and I’m no pro, but here are a few pics I took. Enjoy!

Don't get me wrong, I love my Bullitt and it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it but like you, my other cars are European as all my previous cars have been, so the Ford is pretty agricultural when it comes to fit and finish.

Sweet. I like yours more, lol. I'm all about my classics but the '21 looks amazing.
Same here.
I love the old school muscle, but the '21 Mach 1 does look pretty killer.

I did not realize they changed the font slightly on the "mach 1" emblems.

They lost the serif's on both the letters and the number:

Thanks! I’d much rather drive the 21 but I would love to have a 69 parked in the garage to look at it.

Good catch. They made an attempt to update the logo. I don’t mind it at all, I just wish they would have stuck with the all black emblem from the preproduction car. This current one gets lost in the gray paint in my opinion.

They silvered it up for the guys getting black cars. You‘re welcome.

Those are some cool pictures. Loved looking at that 428 in the engine bay.

Absolutely gorgeous! By the way, is your car lowered a tad or that's the stock stance ?

Stock height. The parking surface seemed pretty flat but it could be playing tricks on how the car is sitting now that I look back at it
