2018 stock GT premium non perf pack

Hey so I thought I would post this for my buddy as he is not on here. Went to the track last night and he pulled off a 12.1 @117. He has a 2018 a10 gt premium with 20in all seasons. It's not a performance pack, and it's bone stock with only an air raid filter. He cut a 1.9xx sixty. I have no clue how he managed this one. The da was around 1500 I think. Sorry no slip, not my car but thought I would share.

I'm simply amazed anyone else seen times like these for a non performance pack car? Especially in Phoenix of all places.

My times were not stellar, I just can't get these damn piriells to hook. I swear launching is my kryptonite. I need a driver mod, my car has 13's in her just not with me driving apparently lol.

Oh and to put this in perspective there was a performance pack gt there as well and he ran 12.8

There are plenty of guys with non PP 2018+ A10 GTs running low 12s and high 11s. Those 20 inch Goodyears are not too bad. I think the Michelins that come on the PP cars are a little better but track prep and air pressure are also factors regarding how tires hook. One member here has run 11.92 on Pirelli P-zero all season tires on a bone stock non-PP car.

Do you know if your friend has the 3.15 gear or the 3.55?

Wow I didn't know that, I thought it was just the pp cars doing it. I believe 3.15

12.1 in 1500 DA with a 3.15 gear is excellent results.

Was this at Wild Horse Pass? I bet DA was better than that, it was pretty cool and dry on Friday but none the less good time for a non PP with 3.15 and all stock.

Yes it was. Unfortunately I didn't check at the time he went. But the following day I did and it had similar conditions.

I don't know what time he ran but it was around 1500 DA at 8 pm. His results were very impressive.
