2018+ Roush Chin spoiler without high flow grille?

In the listing here and everywhere else that sells it, it says that you need to use it in conjunction with the high flow lower grille. However, I’ve seen MANY install pics without it and don’t really like the look of it personally. I’d like to do a different lower grille.

is there any real reason these need to be used together? Is there a fitment issue of say I wanted to keep the stock lower grill for now?

I know this old but you can definitely use the roush chin spoiler with the stock lower grill.or other aftermarket lower grills ..thru the years .I had the roush chin spoiler with the the bottom bulliet grill, the cervini bottom grill..a drl lighting grill also bottom stock ..and just recently decided to go with the roush hi flow grill . I never had any issues.

I’d have to believe you should be able to because you can go the other way and use the Roush lower grille with a PP chin spoiler with perfect fit and no modifications.
