2018 Mustang Headlight differences?

Afternoon all.

I need a replacement headlight for my 2018 base model ecoboost. I’m searching for used options to save on price. Are there any differences between base and premium headlights? Or is everything full LED now on 2018+?

One collision shop said my base eco had xenon lights for the main bulbs and were different from premiums. And then another said any light from a 2018 will work.

I’m looking to pick up a local headlight and I have no info on donor vehicle.

OP, just look at your manual. It should tell you there. I'm not 100% positive but I was under the impression that ALL 2018 models had LEDs due to the redesigned headlights.

Everything I've read says all are LED. But when I do part looks up there are multiple headlights listed for the 18 model year.

I'm just going to roll the dice and buy this one. If it's different in any way once installed I'll update the thread.

Exactly - because the Shelby headlights are still the 2015-2017 style.

The 2018/19 headlights should be the same whether it’s a GT or EB.
