2018 Axle Removal

I'm so far unable to pop the axles out of the differential on either side of my 2018 Mustang GT PP car. I've done it before on my last 2015 and I'm looking at the Ford shop manual and I've seen CJ's and LMR's video on it. I know sometimes they can be a little stubborn or they can be super easy.

However, I'm bending my longest pry bar tot he point I'm covering my face in case it shatters on me. This is what the Ford manual shows and their ford performance site has a video showing the axle install where it says "gently pry the axle free" ... LOL at that. I wish. What am I missing? What's the secret? Is the 2018 different in some way on this aspect too? At a loss and it's snowing - I'd really like to finish up and get inside! Any helps appreciated.

My stock axles popped right out using a pry bar, I tried using a screw driver and that didn't work at all.

Getting the FRPP axles to seat OTOH was a major PiTA, Took me forever to get those c-clips to seat.

After that I'm dropping my car of Monday to get headers installed cause I'm getting too old to deal with that ass-whipping...

Right on - thanks man. a HUGE shout out to JOKER GT on here for the assist - he swung by and worked the pry bar while I got up and pulled on the axles. Done in 2 minutes. Turns out if they're really seated and new, you're just going to need a buddy to buy a beer afterwards. No drama at all - thanks for the help my man! Wish I knew how to link you here!
