If you believe what you read on Wikipedia, part of the adoption of the PWTA coating meant new, larger pistons that bring bore size up to an even 93 mm (from 92.2 mm). Thing is, I haven't seen a larger bore size mentioned in any marketing materials or press pieces.
Ford's own media site doesn't mention anything of the sort either, only the PWTA and the dual injection system (there aren't any spec sheets for either the Mustang or the F-150 on that site yet aside from generic product information sheets). I know that someone from Ford (Mustang chief engineer Carl Widmann) said that the only carryover piece in the 5.0 was the crank, but this sounds like something that would have gotten out by now.
