Just to give a sense of timing to others who have ordered (and yes, there's always the wrinkle of what quarter your allocation is for) but my order was placed 4/23/2016 and am told a Q3 scheduling for my allocation. So July/Aug/Sept build means Sept - Nov delivery I expect

I thought the quarters were off the build year so a Q3 would be Jan-Mar 2017 build, I am prob wrong though :shrug:

This is what i would think as well! 4th quarter is 3 months, before and up to the end of the model year. Model year changed over at june 1 so 3 months back would be march 1 to june 1.
So 3rd 1/4 should be dec1. to march 1. IDK

4/12. I've been incredibly lucky with this and the order for the RS. Built in the first 3 weeks of production for both.

Thanks for the above information as it is not easy to get.

I suggest that the first week quite a few R models were built with mine lumped into the group above and it is still in the Mod Shop gettings the CF wheels and rear spoiler put on.

Rudy Red R Model with Black Roof with 920A base so deletes the radio, A/C, rear camera, carpet sound deader, tire inflator kit etc. which is just great by me.

Typically the Mod Shop has these cars for about 5 to 7 days so I expect mine to hopefully be out of there early next week after which time it should be in line for transportation.

Congrats and a terrific color combination as I really like Blue and White together as very classic in my opinion!

Did you keep your 2016 GT350 or did you let it go?

Na, I'll trade it. In Arizona you get tax nullification on trade value so it'll be pretty close to a wash to trade-up.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me and I suggest that you will be very happy with the color combination that you have selected for your 2017 model along with some of the new standard features for this coming GT350MY.

I just received some unexpected great news as my car is presently sitting at Ramp 51 awaiting transport so with any luck I may take delivery of my new R by the end of June!!:eyebulge:

Maybe I am a little too optimistic but in any event I am really getting excited about receiving my new car and can't wait to book flights in order to receive it.:clap2:

Anyone else that is awaiting transport on a 2017 or even better has their 2017 intransit already?
