I have a 2016 GT auto with a BW twin kit, GT350 Intake manifold and other goodies. When I did this build no one else had a similar set up so I had to figure things out by trial and error. In the front of manifold is a T that I left open, someone told me it was a vent and had no purpose. I've gone through tuning and have been driving my car for a few years now without issues. A couple days ago I plugged the open end with my finger and felt a strong suction, the motor bogged and went back to idle. I capped it and took it for a spin. The boost builds much faster and turbos are more responsive. I did not get on it because I saw 10psi at about 5k rpm. Anyone else know what I should do with this? Keep it plugged, keep it open? And I'm guessing I need to re tune it.

Thanks dudes. What about the tune? Would that leak affect the boost/turbos?

All you can do for that is log, tell your tuner what happened, and see if they find an issue. Hope my pics helped!

I would bet youre going to need to retune. That's a pretty big vacuum leak and if you are seeing noticeably faster spool times and a change in boost pressure, then the MAF tables are absolutely different than before. In that case, the fuel tables will need to be adjusted as well to match.
