2016 gt350 vin updates

Track Pack.. originally I went with a base (and starting to wonder if the Track Pack didn't get added, is there is a way to check through the VIN?) but it was on material hold this month.

Not sure if the VIN will tell you that. Obviously the window sticker will but by the time the sticker is generated, it will be too late to change it. The only way I know to be sure would be to contact the dealer.

Just one quick question. Since I already have my VIN, does the build date indicate the time when the car just starts being assembled or indicate the date when the car is already finished and going to be tested?

Your dealer has to explicitly reach out to the zone manager and ask (this was also confirmed to me by the FP hotline). So your salesperson probably has to talk to the new car manager which then has to write an email to the zone manager and then get the answer back through that chain.

People have done it, but if your dealer is incompetent or uncooperative, that might be easier said than done.

They have explicitly said they have asked the regional manager when to expect it and he is the one blanking them. Only real info I have is that the soonest it would be pulled is September. Perhaps I should ask when is the latest I should expect the car.

Same here. My dealer contacted the regional rep last week and all she told them was that there is a delay this month in getting them scheduled.

The build date is the actual date it leaves the assembly line completed. Keep in mind, that can change...

Mine is 0976 and is scheduled to be built next week 11/2 . They are cranking them out for sure. Now if they could get the shipping on pace we will all have a car in our garage.

I browsed another thread on this forum (sorry...still a rookie as I just joined this week) and there is one about ETIS.com where you can enter your VIN and see details. Mine shows it was built on 10/23. I think you have it to give it a few days for all the details to show up.

Come on Ford....send me my car. I'm ready to hear the growl, feel the road, and add another Stang to the corral!!

It's like when you were a kid and they were making picks to be on a team and they kept picking other kids over you. The longer this goes on, it starts to make you feel like your not worthy enough to have one of these.:kickrock:
