2015 GT350 sells for $135,000 plus buyers premium at Mecum

For all you market watchers ...in Indianapolis today, at the Mecum auction, a new-in-the-wrapper, blue, GT350 optioned with the technology package sold for $135,000 plus buyer's premium which puts the sale at over $145,000. All I can say is...wow! They also sold a 2015 GT350 in January at their Florida auction for around $125,000 which included the buyer's premium.

Maybe it's time to sell mine!!! At my age, I'm not married to anything...:lol:

2016 GT350 sold for $35,000 over MSRP.

Just stopped in at my dealer. He proudly told me he had just sold a GT350 DIB with white stripes for $35K over the MSRP! New owner thought it was a great bargain.

Proof this is still a white hot market for the 15's. I think there is only one still on the market out of the original tech/track packs made.

Most of the 15' R models went to the upper echelon of Ford family/VIP's, etc. and won't be on the market until 2018 (3 year agreement not to sell unless Ford has first right to buy back.)

In other words, no 15' R's made it to a dealership without being sold already . . . Where as quite a few 15's made it to dealerships without a VIP deal.

Congrats to the seller and buyer, most likely this will go straight into a collection. Also doesn't hurt the color combo is quite desirable and the fact it is #136 out of #137.

FWIW, the 1700 mile 15' that sold on Ebay was flipped to Auctions America and hammered @ $90K.

That said, Ebay said the car was worth $60K with the miles (Sold w/no reserve) . . . And then frenzy bidders at Auctions America said otherwise.

Does that make a "miled" 15' worth -$45K less?? Still not bad considering the car stickers at $57 - $58K.
