Practically means I'll be getting a focus ST not a Mustang, so this is a good thing.

Already a refresh

This is my biggest problem with Ford, they change their cars too often.
After a few years already a face lift, that's the right way in never making a classic car.
My point of view is to keep a successful model for more than a few years.
For the new S550 this means that you gone have an outdated model within 3 years.

I don't see a problem with constantly updating their lines. It gives the consumer better products with better value more often and is almost a necessity with upcoming mpg and emissions requirements. Other companies are updating their lines. Remaining stagnant would be a potentially disastrous move.

I'm not sure that Ford is worried about long-term "classic car" status with the Focus. Frankly, the best way to stay on top of fickle market segments (like the hot hatch) is to continuously develop it and keep it current. Customers will drift away and loose interest if you don't, moving on to whatever the new hotness is.

You guys might have seen S550 first, but I get to see the Focus ST first, as I'm off to the Goodwood Festival of Speed on Saturday!

No, that's not much of a consolation

What IS a good consolation, is that S550 is due to run up the Goodwood hillclimb as part of the Supercar Run :headbang:

Really love the interior refresh as well !! lots of cool new tweaks including my favorite the all new steering wheel with a flat bottom. Looks so much better than the previous steering wheel. This one looks like it is more high end, good quality. Also love the darker trim color around the touch screen and they relocated the door lock/unlock to the door panel !!

love that new 2015 ST steering wheel !!! looks like it has slightly better 9 & 3 hand position grips compared to the 15' Mustang, looks about the same size though, smaller, which is a good thing !!

Yes, I love the interior. I would buy one over a Mustang if it were auto.
