It needs a lower chin splitter

Because it probably would have required actual changes to the structure/frame possibly. These changes are literally pretty much just bolt ons to the current S550. I'm sure there is only so much tolerance which they probably designed initially when they made the S550 to handle slight changes to front and rear panels for a refresh. Start moving and pulling things around and you start to throw everything off.yeah i'm not sure why they didn't extend the hood all the way to remove that line/seal. Must be an engineering reason why.
I hate that they call it a "lower hood" when you can't see that part of the hood from the drivers position, so it's irrelevant. The hood already appears to be a dozen feet from the driver, with a blind edge. You can see how much pulling the hood down change the front end. The slant downwards it's obvious.
Yup. They would need to re-engineer the entire front bumper mounting construction for that. That's very unusual for a facelift.Must be an engineering reason why.
Ya. I'm trying to see where it was lowered. It doesn't look lowered to me, it looks like they just stretched it out to a low point. The only lower point is the slight cowl raise on the 15-17 which I actually prefered.I hate that they call it a "lower hood" when you can't see that part of the hood from the drivers position, so it's irrelevant. I was thinking the same thing. Thanks for the symmetry lines.Ya. I'm trying to see where it was lowered. It doesn't look lowered to me, it looks like they just stretched it out to a low point. The only lower point is the slight cowl raise on the 15-17 which I actually prefered.

I believe this is a pedestrian safety requirement in a lot of countries. I guess it's less stabby?yeah i'm not sure why they didn't extend the hood all the way to remove that line/seal. Must be an engineering reason why.
Uh Mag ride, NPP, and more...People keep talking about performance improvements? There hasn't been ANYTHING released for performance yet? The only thing they said is it will handle better than the 12-13 BOSS. They said the same thing for 15-17 PP.
Really. So ughh you rode in one already? Mag ride isn't that spectacular when aftermarket is available so you aren't really convincing me. I'm willing to bet the 18' if quicker than the current generation, it will be under a second, which in reality isn't worth trading up. The biggest benefits will most likely come from the fast shifting A10. Current strategy with cars are, add more power but add more weight. So the question will be, how much difference will all of it really make.Uh Mag ride, NPP, and more...
performance isn't all about HP and TQ.... Which the 18 will also have more of.
So yeah, uh the mag ride alone is a significant deal..
That's basically what they did. They extended it and pulled it down which can be good an bad.Ya. I'm trying to see where it was lowered. Maybe he A10 is a huge benefit for you, I would never drive an automatic mustang so doesn't matter to me. And Mag ride isn't comparable to aftermarket setups, even fully adjustable ones, this should be apparent after the GT350 put them as standard Equipment. It adapts and adjust to road conditions thousands of times every second, softening and stiffening as it sees fit.... even the best track suspension can't dial in as precise. And who ever complains about more power? I'm sure my current car is faster then a stock 18, but then I could just add a couple mods and the 18 would be quicker. If it's not for you it's not for you, but they made major improvement (performance wise, not aesthetics) and I'm sure if your car had some of these features it would be a boasting point in conversations.Really. I don't buy into sales pitches. I wait for actual figures to determine an opinion. So right now my opinion is, NOBODY knows how better it will perform except Ford.
