I was wondering if anyone had tried putting wheels from an S197 on a new 2015? I've read the offset was changed, but I can't find so far what the difference is or by how much. Thanks for any input on this.

How do you know this?

The Livernois ecoboost car is driving on the 20" HRE's that were originally on their 2007 gt.

So can you please give first hand experience on how they don't fit. I'm intrigued

Oh wait...... You don't even have your car yet.

The best way I can answer this for people is not all S197 wheels will fit, but some will. If you want to play it safe, just make certain the wheel clears the brembo brake package. While you may still find wheels that clear this on an 07-14 that don't fit a 15+ it will be far less likely to be problematic.

Thank you for the feedback. I've been wondering if once I get the car if I could interchange the wheels off my 14 if I wanted to. Thanks for your help.

This is not true for all wheels.

Before stating things as fact it's wise to do some research or you will destroy your credibility. It is ok to post your opinion, but state it as such.

wheel fit

I took the American Muscle 18x9 and 18x10 gt500 wheels and put them on my 2015 gt. They were on my 2007 gt. They look great and are in line with the fender. The PP mustang gt has larger brake calipers up front. I don't think the 18 in wheel will clear them.
