You can rent a Ferrari. Hell you can rent it and abuse it around a race track in Vegas and LA.

I don't think the 1LE will beat the GT350R, but it will probably be close. You can never count out a lighter car with a bigger engine.

As great as the GT350 is...the 2016 SS already matches it. You really think the 1LE package will be worse than the SS?!

My point exactly! I can go to high-end rental places in San Diego or Vegas and rent Ferraris, Vipers, Lambos, Vettes & those cars are considered to be special by Joe Q. Citzen.

If i may, i believe what voodoo means by special when he refers to the gt350 is its following, heritage and what thats stood for over the years. The camaro badge has never commanded that type of attention. It probably never will. I believe he feels its an imitation to original pony car. He feels the originator is more special then what he feels is a knock off. Not to mention weve had z28 or other camaro packages over the years. Where the gt500 has only returned once for a short period and this is the first time the gt350 has came back. Its more special in that aspect as well. The gt350 is a more special type of car in many ways. I get where hes coming from.

While i like some years of the camaro itll never be an american icon. Chevys icon is the vette.

Not trying to argue, just going for accuracy - the GT350 did come back once before, back in the '80s, as nothing more than an appearance package for the 20th anniversary:

Apparently no one is remembering MT and C&D numbers when the SS was reviewed and compared. Instead of arguing with emotion here try taking the rose colored glasses off and see what is actually in front of us.
