Mine doesn't sound like that from what I can hear while driving or idling.

I'm wondering if this high-pitch turbo noise is normal. Sounds exactly the same whenever I accelerate the car:

bro i have not kept in closed room as urs... but never heard it making that noise

I can take a video but ill tell you right know that sounds like normal cold start in a confined garage to me. Unless your hearing something iam not. The whirring sound that stops right before your video ends right?

Mine is a daily driver and it has seen plenty cold starts due to being in PA. Mine has never made that turbo whine like that.

Thanks for the input (i'm going crazy over all these issues hah). All 3 dealers wrote on their reports that it was normal (see report in link below. I wish I was making this up).[/QUOTE

Just went out to your link and you really do have a laundry list of issues. I hope most, if not all, of these can get taken care of in the near future. It most certainly detracts from the enjoyment of the car.

vacuum leak
or possibly turbo housings are seated properly
I installed a turbo upgrade back in 2008 on a srt4, didn't seat the fire ring correctly then made a sound very similar
take it in for warranty repair

I might not have to worry about any of that anymore...

I was going to file for lemon law next week, but I got in a 4 car accident yesterday which was caused by the SUV in front of me (I almost avoided her, but failed to). I'm now waiting for my insurance company to inspect the car (still not sure if they'll repair, or if it'll be a total loss). Link to Picture: http://i.imgur.com/T9YJnxm.jpg

PS: Had to repost this msg. I decided not to share the details of the crash.
Wow!! Glad to hear everyone was ok. From what I saw from the photo, that Mustang is totaled! Do you think you will go through the order process again? I mentioned in another thread that the owners with build dates in Feb who waited through the infamous "hold" all seem to have been happy with the build quality.

Btw, since I was subscribed to this thread I did get a chance to read your longer post.

Honest Answer: I love the car (A LOT), but after all I went through (horrible Ford Service in general, even with a Premium Ford Extended Service plan), I might not. I have to think about it.
Sorry to hear and see that. But Everyone is OK and that is what counts.

that noise kind of sounds like a boost leak or a bearing in the turbo not being lubricated properly. MAP big turbo kit can solve the noise.
