all of the parts, shipping, paint, labor are all expensive, and at the end of the day you all you have is a replica. You may as well just get the real thing.

This won't be the same as just changing a bumper and a hood like the old days.
The dealer only offered me 26 trade in on my GT Premium PP with nav, so yeah I can't just get the real thing, and it's not like I'd put the badges on or anything, I just really like that front end.

There is already a hood out that is close. Just waiting on full glass fenders. With all of Fords issues trying to make paint stay on aluminum, this might be an easy sell to the wife!

I'd love to get a real GT350 even had a first chance at a 2016 from my dealer. My problem is I love to beat the crap out of my 15 GT/PP SCed doing track days and such. Even did a " flying mile reaching sustained speeds of 140+ on an airport run way!! I don't drive her daily but when I do....If something breaks ,paint chips and such its just a GT. I don't think I could have mind set if it were a GT350.

Some people bought one up in NY and is gonna drive it through the winter with all the road salt because it's his only car. I feel bad for that car but it's just me. Mine will be garaged away from salt and I have something much better suited for the snowy weather.

I maybe wrong on this one, but I believe the hood will fit a GT. The overall shape and dimensions appear the same. Don't believe anyone has tried though.

I've read that the curvature is off. The Shelby has more drop from the shock towers forward. Not much, but enough that the parts won't interchange.

I think you need to get the matching fenders. The fenders are probably taller.
