Hi,

i know there's one "conveniently located in the trunk wiring harness near the right rear speaker" but is there one anywhere closer to the factory amp? the sticky post says that C2385B has a 6v remote is that usable? or does it need to be 12v?

the amp is an Alpine PDX-v9
https://www.alpine.co.uk/p/Products/SingleView/PDX-V9

running cable from the rear speaker isn't a problem at all as the trims going to be off, but why do it if i don't have to :)

thanks

Yes that is usable. In my install I used a PAC TR7 relay to turn on my amps and the 6v Audio Enable signal energizes the relay allowing the 12v signal that powers the amps to pass through.
