The small rubber piece that hangs down beneath the front bumper on my EB, what is it for and is it needed? And please, refrain from the "Ford wouldn't have put it there if it wasn't needed" comments. Thanks guys!!!

So I'm on the verge of buying a police radar, but I have one problem. I really would like one, but it has to be hidden wherever I mount it in the car. Yes, I could stick it on the windshield and remove it at certain times, but I need it hidden if you're looking in from the outside at all times...

Ok so I have a 468/447 HP/TQ pony. That in 105 degree Houston weather can run a 4 second flat 0-60, and almost sub 9 second 100. I love that neck snap, I havnt tracked my stang yet, since its new but planned on it, so I got 3.31 rear gears, Im still fast after mods. But kind of regret not...

So I'll get right to the question, what are the differences between the base EB and the PP that allow the PP to reach a higher top speed? Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me, considering my searching has rendered me nothing :headbonk:
