firmware

Has anyone tried and successfully changed the firmware on their stock digital dash? Example being I have a 2019 digital dash from the factory. Has anyone tried changing the firmware to say the GT500 firmware? The dash has to be the same as far as the unit. I assume it’s just the software loaded...
