After nearly 8 months of hard work, and a project that's evolved from just a simple 850hp 3.2L Boost Works package, we've finally got some solid numbers out of her!
Last night, we reset our own record (old 4.2L/built motor/T56 combo) at 1318whp/1028wtq! We struggled with a few teething issues for a few days with the new combo. We had to chase down a few gremlins with the AEM Infinity, and get parts sent in. Once running, the car was initially making 36-37psi with the 4.7L and the originally pulley combo. :eyebulge: You can see in some of the earlier pulls, where we were doing tip-in that it was hitting pretty hard. The car was making over 1000wtq @ 4500rpm and hitting 36-37psi in the process. Being that we're going to be land speed racing this car, we decided that nearly 40psi was a tad bit much for our liking..
So, we ended up partially opening the bypass valve to bleed off some pressure, and went up to a larger pulley on the supercharger. This combo netted 28-31psi depending on how much we played with the bypass. The car made plenty of pulls in the 1150-1280whp range depending on boost and timing. After letting her cool down, and adding some ice water to the tank, she laid down a mind numbing 1318whp / 1028wtq! The converter is pretty tight, and it held every bit of it! This is nearly 1700 crank hp if you factor in the horsepower needed to spin the blower, and driveline losses. Needless to say, we're about out of pump. Triple 465lph's just won't cut it. LOL!
Here's some footage of the car.. I'm told that things were falling off of the building and the roof outside every time I made a hit.

This car is absolutely insane. I've driven some very fast cars, but the TQ this thing makes is just nutty.
At any rate, it's loaded into the trailer and off to Georgia to run the Wanna Go Fast Half Mile event up there this weekend. We'll be dialing in things, and getting Jeff used to the car, parachute, etc.
Cheers,
