After nearly 8 months of hard work, and a project that's evolved from just a simple 850hp 3.2L Boost Works package, we've finally got some solid numbers out of her! :headbang:

Last night, we reset our own record (old 4.2L/built motor/T56 combo) at 1318whp/1028wtq! We struggled with a few teething issues for a few days with the new combo. We had to chase down a few gremlins with the AEM Infinity, and get parts sent in. Once running, the car was initially making 36-37psi with the 4.7L and the originally pulley combo. :eyebulge: You can see in some of the earlier pulls, where we were doing tip-in that it was hitting pretty hard. The car was making over 1000wtq @ 4500rpm and hitting 36-37psi in the process. Being that we're going to be land speed racing this car, we decided that nearly 40psi was a tad bit much for our liking.. :ninja:

So, we ended up partially opening the bypass valve to bleed off some pressure, and went up to a larger pulley on the supercharger. This combo netted 28-31psi depending on how much we played with the bypass. The car made plenty of pulls in the 1150-1280whp range depending on boost and timing. After letting her cool down, and adding some ice water to the tank, she laid down a mind numbing 1318whp / 1028wtq! The converter is pretty tight, and it held every bit of it! This is nearly 1700 crank hp if you factor in the horsepower needed to spin the blower, and driveline losses. Needless to say, we're about out of pump. Triple 465lph's just won't cut it. LOL!

Here's some footage of the car.. I'm told that things were falling off of the building and the roof outside every time I made a hit. :D

This car is absolutely insane. I've driven some very fast cars, but the TQ this thing makes is just nutty. At any rate, it's loaded into the trailer and off to Georgia to run the Wanna Go Fast Half Mile event up there this weekend. We'll be dialing in things, and getting Jeff used to the car, parachute, etc.

Cheers,

- Boost Works

I also want to take a second to give credit where it's due..

Kenne Bell: Jim, Mike, David, Ken, and all the guys @ Kenne Bell: You guys have been great. Honestly, Boost Works would not be where we are today without the trust and relationship we have with Kenne Bell. Your product is amazing, and we are always blown away by the attention to detail, power, and reliability of these superchargers!

Lund Racing: Although we're running AEM now, I can't say thank you enough to the crew at Lund. Jon Sr., Jon Jr, Greg, Johnnie, and all the folks behind the scenes. You guys put this car on the map last year when NO ONE was tuning blower cars at the 1200hp level. It was time for us to upgrade to something with more control, but Boost Works would not be where we are today without Lund Racing.

JPC Racing / AEM: Aaron, Justin, Kevin, and the crew at JPC were invaluable on this project. From product support, trouble-shooting, helping with tuning, and even going so far as to overnight us a new PCM when we had issue with the original.. I cannot say thank you enough. We will be working with you guys more in the future as the car evolves. Thank you for staying late to help us trouble shoot!

Weir Racing: Jordan, you have been a huge help, from sourcing little things to big things, to motivating us to get the car done. We're proud to work with you, and we look forward to competing in the coming years!

Justin (FATHERFORD): You've been a huge help with the car, and the shop in general. We appreciate everything you bring to the table, and it's always fun to have you in here helping.

And last, but not least.. our crew at Boost Works. Jeff, Andrew, and Corey. You guys work non-stop, and this is the culmination of all our efforts combined. Thanks!

I'm sure I've missed a few people.. A lot of folks helped with this beast!

Thanks again,

- Boost Works

Travis,

It is an absolute pleasure and honor working with the BoostWorks crew. Can't wait to see the potential of this car when Jeff gets some shake down runs in!

Nice build! I can't wait to see some 1/2 mile video of this beast. I'm running 1/2 this weekend as well, but a little closer to home (Rantoul, IL).

The crazy part of this number... That isn't through a manual or lockup converter...

That is through a turbo 400...
