Does anyone know the changes in the PP in regards to steering tuning and road feedback? I have a GT PP and the steering seems much more influenced by road conditions compared to my former base model Ecoboost (Non PP).

There are times when going over a pot hole or bump where the steering will alter, compared to my EB which was much less influenced by such conditions.

I love how much tighter the steering feels in turns at speed, with appreciably less body roll.

I just have never had a vehicle with a 'performance package' so I don't know if this is normal in regards to small bumps impacting the wheel and forcing me to make corrections.

Normal, yes. Annoying, yes. You may consider a performance alignment from a speed shop that will improve things. What got rid of all of that for me? Bump steer kit. I know bump steer is not tramlining, which is what you're experiencing, but after putting that on my car, I am not being shot left and right against my will on the road. Also helps I'm not riding on those Pirelli tires that like to do their own thing it seems.

Good performance cars provide lots of feedback through the wheel :)

Are the front tires narrower in your EB non PP? If so it will make a difference.
I have driven non-PP GT and EB and def notice the steering is much more lively and has more feedback in the PP (GT-PP, I havent driven a EB-PP). I think this has to do with the k-brace, but could also be the larger front tires, stiffer front springs (and sways?) and perhaps more aggressive alignment (not sure if the alignment in the PP is different).

There is a big difff in steering (but I'm still trying to make it better!).

My steering seemed to get a lot looser after switching out my stock 18's with a staggered 19 setup. When I go fast over bad roads sometimes it feels like my steering is all over the place and makes me nervous as hell. I wondered if it was because the front tires were now larger than the back.

Because of the wider tires you are running in the front and Also the crappy contie tires with mushy sidewalls.

Conti tires aren't crappy! Pfff... DWS are best A/S I've ever had. They do have softer sidewalls relatively, but I've never had Conti's that caused a nervous feeling just driving along. Sometimes an alignment is warranted even after wider tires, man. If it was off before, you'll notice it more now. Check it.
