When I am at highway speeds my steering wheel sits slightly to the left when going straight on the highway. If I let go of the steering wheel my car pulls slightly to the making me constantly adjust... If I straighten the wheel my car pulls slightly to the right.

My steering wheel also vibrates slightly at highway speeds.

It isnt the roads, because my other cars/past cars don't/didn't do this at all.
I don't think it's the allignment either.

My car is pretty new with just over 1000 miles.

I love my new car but want to see if this is common or not with the S550 Mustangs before wasting my time at the dealer?

Well it is the alignment. What else could it be?

I don't know. That would be weird for a new car.
I kind of hope it is, as it would be an easy fix.

I am assuming your car and steering wheel have been going down the road perfectly straight since new?

Do you have any noticeable steering wheel vibration at highway speeds?

Yeh, I would just take it in to the dealer and have them re-align it through warranty. It happens. Back when I bought my WRX, there was a known issue of horrible factory alignments. Sure enough, mine was pretty bad. Had to take it back but they re-aligned it and it was good to go.

Regardless, that's definitely got to be your first course of action. It definitely sounds like alignment on the pulling/offset steering wheel. The vibration could be a wheel/tire out of balance. Have them check that as well.

I actually just rotated my wheels/tires and after doing it, I started noticing a bit of vibration at really slow speeds. Guessing a wheel that was on the rear was out of balance. Now that it's up front, I can feel it. In any case, I'm not doing anything about it as I just ordered new tires. Once I get those put on next week, I'll have everything balanced and aligned.

Okay, it sounds like what I am experiencing isnt a variation of the norm for this car. I will be scheduling an appointment soon for sure.

So...I took my car to the dealer to have the allignment and tire balance checked.
The service guy noticed the issue I was talking about on the test drive (so not in my head).

Alignment was slightly off on left side.

Allignment now perfect and tires have been balanced.

Steering wheel still sits to the left when going straight and there's still a slight shimmy.

Nothing fixed.

What else could this be?! I love the car but this is very annoying.

Also the roads your on they are smooth straight and even? no curved lanes to the sides for water drainage right?

Could be a slipped belt in one of the tires...rotate tires side to side and see if the pull switches directions.

Nothing like that. My brothers 15 mustang and wife's car do not have this issue on the same roads. Something is off.
I got a printout of the alignment machine, all good there.

That would be a first for the S550 model that I know off.

Please post a copy.

Everything can be "within tolerance" or "in the green" and it'll still want to drift to one side.

I would first look at the front wheel caster readings being unequal and the rear thrust angle being much off from "zero". A tenth of a degree thrust angle is clearly noticeable at the steering wheel.
