You know, I honestly think that Ford could have done a better job on all of our cars. The Mustang is the most important car in their portfolio and time and care should have been taking to make sure the cars got out right. I dont know if you guys have looked at the pics or videos of the assembly line but you will notice a bunch of Mustangs out to the side. I have mostly owned European and Japanese cars for that same reason. They tend to be more detailed oriented when building a car. I not saying that I am not happy with my car, I am but nonetheless, at this day and age, it should not be happening at this level. They should have this figured out by now. I bet Bill Ford's #001 LE wont have those issues!
I guess I got lucky. My only issue is the hood sits a little low on the passenger side. Everything else is solid.
Funny, I work for Nissan, and we get paint and panel alignment issues all the time. It isn't just Ford.It is disappointing that an enthusiast oriented car has panel fit issues in this day and age. I look at my wife's 2014 Pathfinder parked next to me and every single gap and shut line is dead perfect. It makes it look like my Mustang was assembled by blind people (or people that just don't give a shit). I'm still happy with the car overall but you can't ignore the fit and finish issues we all seem to have.

did the transport cover leave any worn spots in the paint any where on y'alls cars?
have a spot on the passenger side bumper just behind the rear tire.
think that would be covered under the warranty?
Sad to say but if you look at every new Mustang LE or regular I bet you find a flaw somewhere in the the panel/body aliment.
