2300, mostly driving around town with maybe 10% hard charging. Nowhere close to truly testing the engine in any way.MM, Not good news. Feel for you. What kind of milage do you have & what type of milage,road/.track?
I know of at least 1, I'd post a link but this forum won't allow a link to that forum.I think your concerns are not valid! change if you want but I dont not think anyone has proof that is documented a stock engine with a oil pump gear that has failed. Engine has a long powertrain warranty so its up to you to change the gears and void your warranty.
Apparently the pickup tube doesn’t come apart, so you either hafta drop the K member or lift the engine to get in there. But there was arguing over that, so i gave up trying to see how different it was compared to the coyote.^ Are you installing it on your own or a shop?
Curious how easy (or hard) it is to install OPGs.
I wonder if its hard like installing headers, which just like the coyote takes 8 hours on a lift, 16 on jack stands.
The shop manual says to take off the front cover and timing chains as well as the oil pan, which means dropping the subframe. It's a big job, from the looks of it.Apparently the pickup tube doesn’t come apart, so you either hafta drop the K member or lift the engine to get in there. This was where my shopping for a blower ended lol. I don’t really want to let someone else do it, and i’m Afraid this one’s a bit over my headThe shop manual says to take off the front cover and timing chains as well as the oil pan, which means dropping the subframe.
