Getting some last minute items ready for a Procharger install. Went to the local parts store to pick up a set of NGK 6510's. They didn't have but was told that NGK BKR6EIX-11's were the same, including heat range, to the 6510's, except in a iridium tip. Thoughts/insight anyone?

I've had 2 Brisk plugs fail on me over the past two months. Causing misfires on 2 cylinders. Swapped to NGK 6510's and no issues so far.

6510 is a catalog number the plug is a LTR7IX-11 which is a 7 heat range and is an Iridium plug. The plug suggested to you is a 6 heat range which is one step hotter. I would look for another place to do business with.

Japanese plugs as the number goes up the heat range goes down, American plug companies as the number goes up the heat range goes up.
