I know some others have had trouble with wheel center caps because of the Brembo dust caps sticking out so far. I've heard some are just hammering them in the needed 1/4 inch for clearance. Has anyone looked for a dust cap that would offer a little more clearance. I really want to use the flush center caps on the wheels. Just don't want to do the search if someone has a part number. If not, I'll post my results for others but I plan on taking one off and heading to the auto parts stores in the next day or so.

Hammered mine, easy-peasy. Though they aren't the prettiest when I run wheels without a center cap. But if you plan to have a center cap on 95% of the time, why wouldn't you just hammer them in?

How much additional clearance did you get? Or better yet, what are your wheel sizes?

Bump! I was considering just removing it but if you can hammer it in I’ll do that first. The rear doesn’t have a dust cover why is there one on the front?

Bringing this back from the virtual grave-- I just noticed my front wheels don't even have the dust/grease caps on the hubs. Anybody else not have them? I ordered some today but was just wondering...

That's weird. I had mine when I took a look. Sure enough I hammered them in to get some clearance. Worked like a charm
