So the ricer in me wants to paint my brembos as I have beaten them up a little doing suspension work and taking the tires off. Is anyone using g2 caliper paint with sucess on their road course car? Did it discolor, flake or peel? Should I just ceramic coat instead?

I've used both the brush-on and spray-on mostly for street use with some autocross and open track thrown in. Colors were red and black. Red attracts dirt and is more noticeable but tends to hold the color when cleaned. Black doesn't show the dirt but still gets dirty. However, the black tends to a chalky black color after a while.

The spray is easier to use and dries much quicker. The brush on takes more time but the paint seems to be more durable. This isn't to say both won't scratch or nick; both will but the brush on is easy to repair. Brake cleaner will act like remover so you have to use Simple Green or wheel cleaner that won't affect the paint.
