@Need4SpeedMotors may be able to make a quality spare for us, but he would need at least 100 orders.

What I am proposing is the R-style wheel he has in 19x4 or 19x5, whichever may be able to fit the trunk well and for flush.

If you are in, please state your desire for one in this thread.

***DISCLAIMER***
This idea is just that at this point...
This post is not meant for discussion of opinions, but rather if you want a spare or not. I'm going to leave the wheel dynamics up to the expert being asked to make the wheel. He will have to research the idea to see if it will work first. But if you are interested, please note that here. Thanks!

You wouldn't want a 19x4 or 5, you wouldn't get a tire size that could fit. What you probably would want is a 19x7.5 with a 235/40/19 or something like that. That would be the same overall diameter (very damn close) to both the front and rear gt350r tire.

Tire rack has a T155/70R19 compact spare that will fit. Overall diameter is 27.5 compared to 27.4 (stock rear). Made for rim widths from 4-5".

May be able to find a different combo with more searching but something like this should work fine. This is a great idea for someone that wants the peace of mind.

Good luck finding a flush fit in the trunk with a wheel that will clear the calipers and accommodate a jack as well. There's not a lot of room under there.

It's already been done. The inner diameter of the wheel has no issue with the trunk well.

Count me in. I don't think they would have a problem with selling 100+ when verified to fit in trunk well and clear caliper.

I'm talking about width. The jack would need to be real thin. I think the well is only 6" deep. You need more width than an s550 spare to clear Brembos.

I get what you're saying. The manufacturer who I have asked if he could do it will be researching the concept. I think he knows more about this than either of us so I am deferring to his research and plan.

If he says it has to be 4, 5, 6 or whatever inches wide, I will believe him.

Scissor jacks will fit in a 4" deep wheel.
