I have 401A digital dash with auto. I used the track aps to do a 0 to 60 run. I used the Christmas tree start, I have no tachometer with the Christmas tree displayed. I wanted to launch at 2K. Did I have something set wrong or did they not think about needing a tachometer to launch?

Auto or manual? I have the auto and I select”press ok to start”. Then press ok. The timer starts when you take off.

It is an auto. That works but if you want to use the Christmas tree you have no tach. If they are all like this it is a very bad useless POS.

Not defending the design, but it seems like the Christmas tree function is a gimmick anyway. Only you can see it, so what are you competing against? Just a reaction time test?

Don't you set the rev limit for launch control elsewhere in settings? I know with pre-facelift you do, so i'd imagine you set it first and just hold the throttle as it's going to stop at the pre-defined limit anyway
