Greets all,

I had a question and to see if anyone can help me along. I am trying to find out a few things, and doing a search on google isnt getting me much info, probably because the 15-16 stangs are new.

I am particularly interested in knowing what "AS-BUILT" line code controls the fog lights going off when you signal?

Thanks for any help you can give and shed some light.

Codes found so far in BCM:

Simultaneous High Beams and Fog Lights location

Code: 726-27-01: 0100 0001 0058 (Disabled)

Change to: 726-27-01: 0100 0000 0057 (Enabled)

You can now use your fog lights with your high beams, especially if you are on a dark road with no lights. CONFIRMED!

Double Horn Honk Reminder (Engine on, Keyfob not in car):

Code: 726-41-02 0001 0001 0072 - Enabled

Change To: 726-41-02 0000 0001 0071 - Disabled

Now you don't have that annoying Double Honk that you left the car on! CONFIRMED!

Police Dark Mode:

Code: 726-32-01: 0A01 0000 006B

Change to: 726-32-01: 0A01 0100 006C

Now your interior lights will not come on when you open your car door, or when you shut off the car! CONFIRMED!

There are RGB LED kits for the DRL's for sale.. so, they are replaceable albeit a huge pain in the ass to replace... I wouldn't do it myself.

Welp the mod has already been done, so my idea for the mod is already been invented, so now the first question still remains, Does anyone know what controls the correlation between the signaling and the fog light turning off?

Since I know the location is in the BCM or the BCMB can anyone or be willing to tell me the as-built line code that I would need to change to stop the fog light from shutting off when signaling?

I am changing the location of the turn signal so legally the fog light does not have to shut off since it will not be affecting the line of site. I have the capability to change it, I just need to know the line code.

If you dont want to post it, thats fine PM me.

You have access to a VCM II tool?

If you get this figured out, let us know. I wasn't even aware the fogs went off with the turn signals. I've never messed with a VCM, certainly not on a newer ford so I'm afraid I don't have an answer for this.

off topic, but do you ever see a 'police dark mode' option anywhere? I can't stand my interior lights turning on every time I open the door or turn my car off.

Currently I do not know. I know what your talking about, and have seen it in other cars, but so far in this one, if its there, its in code and clearly doesn't say Dark Mode. But I'll take a look and see. There is only a small partial list that I have that's user friendly, the rest is all code, I'll take a screenshot by Wed. and post it up so at least you guys can see some of the options that can be turned on, off, or switched on after you add the module, for EX: say you added the rain sensor module to the car, you could enable it to function.

I was playing around a bit, and told the computer to make the fog lights my DRLs and kinda looked cool, but I switched them back. Just an FYI the led fin lights are not considered DRLs by the computer from what I see, under the DRL's its set as none, and if you want DRL's then you can choose, fog lights, signal lights, low beam or high beam.

Keep exploring, this is pretty interesting stuff.

Any chance you can tell the computer to make the brake lights sequential like the turn signals?

Here are the screenshots: Just so you guys get an idea of what I was talking about in case no one knew or thought I was blowing smoke. There's alot of work that needs to be done to decipher the codes.

I think I found the line code for this.

Code:
726-32-01: 0A01 0100 006C

Dont think its possible, for legal reason its cant be done due to the fact it would confuse motorists behind you.

Nice find on the dark mode. I often will go out to photograph the night sky and I hate it when you touch the door handle and all the lights come on ruining my night vision.
