The maps and nav app from the TomTop unit are several years old. Last night I updated mine (with the help of madwarren).
The process was a bit of a pain in the ass, so I've tried to make it simpler.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
-WinRAR, or a means of unpacking an archive
-This file: https://mega.nz/#!M9owTSBY!-Fgze2nQ6jMzT7ZI7ltzhiUqOWaSJ2-nQSk3k2KqjbY
-A means of reading/writing to a microSD card on your computer (or even phone)
Start by downloading the file above. Extract it to a folder you can access easily.
Then pop the microSD card out from the TomTop unit (it's in the little vertical slot on the left side of the screen; press on it, and the card should eject).
From here's pretty easy. Just copy the entire contents of the extracted folder over to the root of the microSD card. You don't even have to delete the existing files. You'll end up with a folder:
blaupunkt_igo_primo_v9.6.13.491814__18_feb_2015_crkd
Go back to your car, insert the microSD card into the TomTop unit, and power up the car.
On the TomTop, go to SETTINGS | NAVI SETTINGS and select Navigation Location (or whatever that button is).
Press the STORAGE button to access the MicroSD card, navigate to blaupunkt_igo_primo_v9.6.13.491814__18_feb_2015_crkd, then Blaupunkt_iGO Primo v9.6.13.491814 - 18 Feb 2015, then press on MobileNavigator.exe.
This will change the location of the executable. Back out of all the menus, go to HOME on the TomTop screen, press on NAVIGATION, and follow the on-screen setup instructions (super-easy).
That's it! That should be all there is to it. This is easy and reversible.
Some of my button labels may be off since I'm writing this from memory based on when I did this last night. If necessary I can make a video on Monday (Mustang's in the shop this weekend).
Please let me know if there are any problems downloading the .RAR. I've tried to make it as straightforward as possible.
