The UPR Dual Valve Catch Can System in conjunction with the UPR CSCC - Clean Side Catch Can is the only true solution that will still maintain a closed PCV system. The difference is when you run a breather cap or anything venting to the atmosphere you are giving up critical ring seal, idle quality and driveability. We have seen this over and over with so much testing on the ecoboost platform as well as the normally aspirated vehicles.

It's simple to run breathers, but then why did we go from Carb to FI ? Efficiency ? YES Performance ? YES Longevity ? YES

All of the above and it takes a complex system to be able to provide the very best of both world's and the feedback we are getting from many end users is showing us that all the hard work we are doing is paying off.

Here is a simple diagram to see hose routing and check valve flow / direction.

This is the oil that accumulated after approximately 2000 kms of regular daily driving. I have auto and rarely push it past 4k rpm

I went cruise with the Toronto s550 Group, pushed the car hard, driving fast and high RPMS. This is the oil that was accumulated after approximately only 700 kms. (emptied it prior to the cruise).

So yes, if you are pushing your car hard, it will create more oil blow by which the oil catch can will catch.

How long are your drives usually? I normally go 40 KM's a day and my first 600kms with the UPR dual valve has present almost no oil in the can. Made sure the hoses were connected properly also.

Make sure the value is closed. It happened to me first, the valve was open and the entire time it was just dripping. Make sure the handle is horizontal facing.

Drive for at least 2000km before checking. It may produce a drop or two, every car is different.
