Very interesting how the buttons are finished production for you yet some others still have them in processing.

Hopefully within the next day or two the toggles will finish production! They take longer because of the post processing dying process to achieve the black color.

You were the first! But if your buttons already finished production then they should not still have to go through manual checks for others which keeps the status in processing. It is the same part! So it should just be able to be sent immediately to the printers. The order I am referring to was fairly close to yours though so that is probably the reason why they are still in processing.

No issues!! Just something interesting to note.

So we are getting closer to people receiving their orders! During the install process you might end up breaking a clip. If that happens order this part number from Ford! It contains a package of 4 clips to replace any clips that might break.

Part Number: W717661-S300

They are not expensive at all! 20 clips cost me $18. (I want to be prepared for the many more times I will be taking my dash apart)

Just received status update from Shapeways! All of the toggles and button have made it out of their "First To Try" category. This means that they have been able to successfully print the toggles! People who ordered early should start seeing shipping notifications soon.

For those interested in Tier 2. This is a representation of what you could achieve with the higher resolution tier.

Very minimal prep work needed. A nice wash with alcohol and a light scuffing with an abrasive pad. This is the finish that was achieved.
