How do you contact them? Some updates from Ford SErv.
Hey there. She's about to come to life! As of right now, your EDD is listed as July 20. That is only an estimate, but at this time, when they expect it to arrive. Given the distance it is traveling, many factors can affect the deliver and it is subject to change.![]()
Thx for the update Jeff. I was just wondering if the annouced EDD was realistic for Europe. I guess it is based on your comments if everything moves on according to the book.
Most definitely. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!![]()
Drop them a PM - http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/member.php?u=7992 - they are very responsive :ford:How do you contact them?

Thanks for the explanation! In my book COTUS is just absolutely useless for our EU cars. The build date means nothing. For those interested :
My question (last week before production):
It should almost be alife as we speak but I try to understand the Ford logic. How come cars with completed order on 5/18 are already in transit while mine with a completed order 4/27 is still in production. Very happy it is but just curious and eager to understand your logic...Cheers!
Hey,
Orders are scheduled based on the following criteria:
-the priority code rating
-the dealer's allocation for each production week
-the ordered option content
-the receipt date
The receipt date is a factor when breaking ties for orders with the same priority code. Therefore, the date is the last factor. Your vehicle was just released to the body company (upfitter) for completion of the assembly process. Your ETA still shows at 7/20/15, which is always subject to change. Keep checking in. Have a nice day!
I guess you're completely right. It seems like our salesmen at the dealership know more than we do, but they have to keep their mouth shut. I ordered my car on 2/11/15 with an estimated date of delivery August / September 2015. As it seems now, they knew what they're talking about. Thanks for the explanation! In my book COTUS is just absolutely useless for our EU cars. The build date means nothing.
My car has been showing as built and awaiting shipment since 8th of May and today FordService confirmed it is just being manufactured as we speak. Same as you - just returned from uplifters. Not built at all.
I wish all you guys are right with the vessels heading your way and I wish you the cars are really on board, but for me this means I will trust no delivery information until I see the car here at my dealers.
I think that sounds very probable. And considering Czech dealers borrowed US imported cars for their July events, they are not expecting their cars anytime soon.As I said before on this forum, I heard a rumor from Ford already months ago 'No Mustangs on the street, before they hit the dealer shop'.
As far as I know, so far no EU Mustangs were delivered. There isn't even a picture or video, showing EU cars are loaded on vessels. When they were leaving for China, there was a complete video available. I think the first Mustangs to arrive in the EU are for the showroom. The ones we have ordered will come later. That's our thanks for ordering so early.Honestly I don't know what the truth is about the cotus for EU orders but I can report my experience with my dealer.
He told and showed me the build date on a different dealer-only system at the dealership while this date has never been in my cotus.
The date was 8 of june for the system and yesterday for the cotus my car entered production.
So, for my experience an for the build date only seems like the dates are ok....but i absolutely don't know for delivery.
I was also wondering if someone with earlier EDD has received their car or not, any news?
We had a picture of a truck in Germany in a prior post (not Munich ones as other colors)...no idea where these stranded...As far as I know, so far no EU Mustangs were delivered.
