Don’t seem a problem with the wheels and fender gap.

I find it very difficult to trust a dealer that won't provide a link to a window sticker on their Web page for a car.
One way I've gotten around this is to use the inventory search function on ford.com. So I tried it by using the zip code listed on joemyersford.com, putting in some of the general specs from the PPL2 listed above, and trying to find a matching VIN. But it looks like Ford isn't so fond of Joe Myers Ford. The inventory search tool on Ford.com won't list any Mustangs from Joe Myers Ford no matter how general I make the search, even if I make the radius 40 miles. Weird.
Dealers can opt out of the Ford inventory search tool. Nothing will show from dealers that are not included in the program, although most do it as it has the potential for sales.

Can dealers delete some cars from the Ford inventory search and not others? I happened to stumble upon a PP2 at a dealer (through a cars.com search) and I could find the car on the dealers website, but it didn't show up on Ford.com, although all the other Mustangs that dealer had did show up. Seemed odd to me.

That’s great to hear and thanks for the feedback. Makes me even more anxious to get mine, though I don’t understand why it’s going to take until September!!
I waited 5 months and 4 days from order to delivery. Its been worth that wait so far.

Finally got it home today. Sorry, photos are in the shade, this color really does look great in the sunlight.
Ah man, that looks great. Congrats.

Still doesn’t change the fact that it looks wrong from certain angles (direct side view). Why doesn’t the Shelby look like this? Wider fenders? If the suspension is setup from the factory correctly ther shouldn’t be rubbing, poke or no poke.
"Looks wrong" is subjective opinion. Most people probably aren't 100% about function, so the gap between tire and fender (or possibly the ratio between sidewall height and that gap) gets in the way of fully appreciating cars built specifically for corner-carving. Because they let it.

The static appearance that goes over big at car shows is flat-out wrong for a car like the PP2 if you're going to use it for its track capabilities. By definition, 'inside knowledge' does imply that not everybody is going to "get it". Personally, I'm just fine with that.

It could even be some other sort of optical effect that you're blaming on 30-profile sidewalls.

Here is a rear angle shot from a Ford show we went to over the weekend. I still have some things planned but here is what I've done so far:

Ford Performance GT350 Springs
Michelin 4S tire swap. 305/30 Front & 325/30 Rear
California Pony Cars Splash Shields (Front)
Ceramic 25% Tint
Hood struts
Smoked tail lights and signal markers
Smoked fog lights
Paint protection Hood, bumper, and front quarter panels
Gloss Black Vinyl on side view mirrors
Ford Carbon Fiber shift knob
Magnetic Painted Stanginator Pony emblem
Replaced rear trunk panel due to massive scratch. This piece seems to scratch insanely easy for some reason. Even more so than on my 15'.

Coming Soon:
Lethal H-pipe resonator delete
Magnetic Painted GT emblem
GT350 stripes. Gloss black w/ white side stripe

I used Xpel Ultimate PP film. It actually took quite a beating on my road trip to MD so I can give some immediate feedback. While the film did actually prevent multiple hits from getting through to to paint, one was so severe that it ripped a dime size chuck out of the film on the front bumper. I had to trim the damaged piece off so now there is already a visible hole in it. I suppose this would have done some serious damage to the paint and likely dented the bumper but that will be a significant cost to me again if I want it to be pristine. I got the car back the day before my trip and it is already damaged. Ugh :frusty:

Curious which hood struts you went with.
