Haha you're not wrong. I've opened the garage quite a few times just to check that it is still as awesome as the 4 seconds ago that I last looked. I expected a good looking, fun to drive car. I didn't expect it to be this amazing though. Some angles of the car you just can't do justice with in photos.
Love the car, its one nice ride Martin. :headbang::headbang:

The wait in anticipation can sometimes be better than the event which does worry me a little, so its good to read peoples first response to their car after having waited for soo long.

Great to hear some of the guys here are big kids still! Mine is a weekend drive although I sometimes pick the girls up from school in it.

Took her out this morning for a drive, it's great to get out on some back roads and play with the paddles in Sport mode. Take her up to around 5000rpm and it just sounds glorious! (Standard exhaust, I'm not in a hurry to change.)

Believe it or not, mines only been washed twice in the 7 months I've had it. Once was by the detailer when it had the Ceramic Pro done and I've cleaned her once myself. It's been out in the rain but just looks a bit dusty now.

But every time I see the garage door open and see that rear end, ahh, it's a Colorbond moment!

No offence, but the white stripes just don't go with anything...

Yup that's what I used to think too, until we saw it in flesh and started getting nothing but positive Feedbacks from everyone who saw it in person
It's one of those things where photos don't do justice.....

Ford is putting them on GT350R, based on this fact your opinion seems a bit too strong but again that's just your opinion

Some pony pics after Racing stripes on both our cars:

Looks amazing!!!

Love those stripes....! BOTH of them look so cool. I was thinking of matt black main stripes with white pinstripes.

Awesome additions Kaps! :headbang::coolphotos::first:

Not closed but there are road works everywhere (after Lorne to Apollo Bay) and they have lowered the limits to 40 Km/h.
Until Lorne limits are a bit lower (60 where it used to be 70Km/h) and a couple of spots with road works with 40 limit.
Ahh ok, sounds annoying lol, will definitely have to come back and hit it once it's fixed properly

In my humble opinion, I think both look fantastic. We actually have the silver stripes with a fine red pinstripe on our black 2005 Mustang and love it. Very nice dress up. Love the way we can all make these cars our own personal style like this. That's what I personally love about the Mustang - from 50 years to now, people still personalise their cars from day one. :)

Hi Kaps,

Are they the same width as the GT350 stripes?

Did you do them yourselves or have them done professionally?

I have been 'umming' & 'arring' about GT350 stripes on my magnetic for months!

Cheers,

Rob.
