Is it to much vibration for a weekend driver I guess is the question

It probably wouldn't be bad at all in a manual car. In the auto you get quite a bit of vibes in gear. It's not bad in park and N.

I, as well as Adam- I think, used the black busings (one on each side) and this is noticeably stiffer. They are designed to eliminate movement for the track.

I have yet to give full red bushings a try, they may help alleviate some of the vibration. After getting the Steedas in, swapping bushings is very easy as access is increased dramatically.

I may do this for a pony drive next week just to get an idea and to test the "quick swap" theory.

I am using red on both sides I'm actually thinking of switching to black.

It is the softer.

As far as that fancy scientific info, I have no idea.

I'm using the black and the nvh was pretty intense at first. After a few drives it seems to not be as bad.
Yea, they will "soften" up a little bit after awhile, but they are still going to be pretty stiff.

I'm curious to try the red now, just for giggles. Might time it tonight to see how quick it is.

Update: 2/11/16 Roll Cage and test fitting prototype bumper beam and intercooler

I have been extremely busy lately so I apologize for not updating more frequently. All of the parts have arrived and I'm in the process of getting the car together so I will update when I can. I'm rushing to get the car finished for the Ecoboost Shootout in Bradenton, FL March 3-6th. My build along with managing Ken Compton's 9 second build (sb1racing on the forums) has been ultra stressful and time consuming but going to pay off in the end!

I had some time to snap off a few pictures of progress pictures of my bolt in Watson Racing cage. Here they are:

I still have to bolt in the front door bars but that should only take an hour or two to finish up. I will be putting back in most of the interior and eventually making a custom firewall between the back seat and the trunk. Just waiting for it to warm up a little bit to take care of unnecessary task.

I received a bolt on race beam from one of my sponsor's, I can't release the name yet until it goes into production but here is a sneak peak. It is designed to work with the Full-Race intercooler which I highly recommend. This beam shaves about 3lbs off the front of the car and allows you to bolt the intercooler directly to it. Also a good place to weld a mount for a tow hook.

Also pictured below is the Full-Race intercooler I will be running until we get one of the prototype units my way, this is their off the shelf intercooler we are going to prove can perform at the track.

I usually set aside a few hours before I start a build to try to plan out every little detail, you can see below one of those details was something small like OEM push mount cable ties which I used to hold the A/C wiring harness to the intercooler brackets just to keep that OEM look.

After I knock out tune emails today I will be getting the Full-Race turbo kit test fit on the car which I hope to have on the car and fired up this weekend. The plan is to get the car on the dyno next week Wednesday along with Ken Compton's car.

Expect another update early next week!

Jesus H Christ that is one thick-ass intercooler. I think this is the first time I'd see Full Race's IC! :clap2::hail:

It's actually not crazy thick, it is as thick as it needs to be to support good power. We will be doing a 4" or 4.5" setup on my car in the near future, this one is 3.5"
