I replaced the factory battery in my 2015 GT this week (yes, the original lasted 6.5 years and was still going at 40k miles).
I decided to go with a Motorcraft AGM battery (#BAGM96R). Does anyone have any experience with this model?
When I was pricing things out, I found this one on RockAuto...
Compared to the 4 piston set, it hasn't been a night and day change; but I feel like I have more braking control if that makes sense. I went with the Z23 pads. When I first brake its similar to stock, although smoother (less bite), but when you get onto the pedal it grabs in a hurry.
After the parts have stared at me all winter, I finally got a good day to install Brembo Calipers on my non-performance pack Auto GT.
Would have never taken this on without the the knowledge found on this forum!!! :like:
It's all good - they gave me a loaner.
And while I'm sure some people would love a brand new Escape, I'd like my GT back (although I do prefer a car with A/C)
Update - Dealer finally agreed its the evaporator. Putting one of his best guys on it given the work involved, but that means over a week without my car. Just hoping it gets fixed once and for all.
Agreed, but would that explain the refrigerant loss? I'm afraid this will be the next misdiagnosis the dealer throws at me
Thanks - its a deluxe... replaced the mini-hums with Lollar P90s :headbang:
Depending on what I hear today, I'll be reaching out to Customer Service. Good idea.
They kept it overnight to see if it was still holding a charge today... but we've already been down this road twice.
It appears I can be added to the this list.
2015 GT is at the dealer for a third time with no refrigerant over the last 6 months. Dealer is giving me the run around about how its holding a charge and not leaking. Seems pretty clear to me this is the Evap issue as I had colder air on the...
Great weekend here in the Northeast. Added the Ford Racing Strut Tower brace on Friday, went for a fun drive on Saturday, and finished the weekend off with a bath.
Thanks! Wheels are Curva C7. Link to where I bought them is here.
I was trying to keep cost down since this will be my winter set. Guess I'll find out how they hold up.
So I know its a little strange to be getting my winter setup together one week before the official start of spring. Tire Rack had a nice deal on these Michelin Alpin winter tires, so I bit.
When it came to wheels I thought I'd try to keep the cost down and went with these (Curva C7)...
It should. I woke up this morning and had gone from In Production to Awaiting Shipment... then an hour later I was in transit. Guess it all depends on how the trains are scheduled and loaded
Still no change from the 2/11 EDD for me.. but its on the way! :headbang:
