notice the dealer mentioned " order " which is smart, I am going to offer the same scenario for people asking for X-Plan...we will order what you like...as for stock inventory units...no way. All Ford units are allocation basis...if you are a larger seller you will get more than a mom and pop...
when the order banks open, of course dealers will have all the " order guides " which include option breakdowns and costs involved, believe me, the public will also get in on it..lol.
Roush has done " body in clay " for Ford as to the Mustang conceps and future build, they start with much smaller scale and then, based on what Ford likes, do full size unit and upon Ford final approval..." plot " the car for scanning into auto cad for Ford's engineers, I wish I knew what they...
for the " Gotta have " customer....maybe a person who owns or owned an original one it is simply not a question of money...those with the " means " will always get what they want
nasty as hell, square tip exhaust?, loud and mean......355x20's on rear? Roush is currently finishing their clay models for approval...hope it looks similiar...obviously without the fender flares
Ford is building the car on the same line as the Fusion ( non-hybrid) and while they will certainly produce many, the car will remain on " allocation " basis and larger volume dealers will receive more units. I do not think Ford will flood the market with
units....but follow the market...and...
we sold 15 units last month, and it is a great value, we order a lot of track packs and also base and premium models...great bang for the buck, especially with " Flex Buy "
0% by 66 months.
I believe some time ago, Ford " rolled " the SVT program into Ford's Total Performance division/department. Years ago I actually visited the SVT " skunkworks"
facility in Mich. and spent an afternoon with a manager on a private tour, saw them
building proto type " Adrenlin " Explorer Sport...
Am a Roush dealer, they will be building a Stage 1 and Stage 2 for 2015. CARB cert. is needed for Stage 3..which will take some time. Their TVS blower can be installed
on 2015 engine by authorized dealer or certified shop..but not yet by them at their
plant.
Galpin Ford in Calif. is the world's largest Ford dealership, as for the Florida store getting 8? Ford does it this way: Top 500 dealers get 1, top Mustang dealers get 1
then it is sales volume from 4/13 to 5/14 of all RETAIL sold mustangs, they get a chip
which is lottery done by Ford, if...
Met him in 2007 at Barrett Jackson Auction in Scotsdale, with Carroll Shelby. Seemed like a nice guy...also seems a bit of a " car guy " which may be favorable
for future of specialty cars at Ford.....however we shall see, John Colletti who ran SVT was also " testy " and he did a great...
Divine you are correct, I sell Mustangs and you could literally not " give away " a 2010 GT once the specs. for the 2011 came out and when the car actually arrived, forget selling a 2010 to anyone, unless they were not a car guy..or bought simply due to great deals.
" old " numbers were 411 HP then 420 and now 435? I reckon Ford may show 435
but any more would kill the current 5.0's on dealers lots.....ala Ponitac GTO when they came out with 350 HP and announced mid year that the new model would have
400 HP, it killed the dealer inventory...
