Thanks Baron, will try that tomorrow. I have a 10 gauge jumper cables, is that enough? Also should I rev the Mazda for 15min while connected, or it's okay to just let it sit there while I wait?
Hi guys, I feel really stupid with this but need some help.
I have a 2015 GT that I left parked in an underground garage over the last 3 months to keep it away from the snow. When I went to get it last week the battery was completely dead. So I got my other car to jump it (2017 Mazda CX5)...
Yup, clutch all the way down.
Yup, clutch all the way down, factory floor mats.
Yea gonna call the dealer. To answer the question above, when I'm in the car and hold down the clutch, the light on the start button does not light up at all.
No, it just turns on the radio and AC. Once it's in accessory mode, and w/ the clutch held down, if I press the power button, it turns off accessory mode. But the screen says hold down clutch to start car. At this point, I have to let go of the clutch, press it down again, and then press the...
This. Guys this keeps happening after the trip. Now every time I want to start the car I need to press the power button twice, while letting go of the clutch and pressing it down again in between.
What does the fuel pump priming sound like? When I press the start button the first time, I can hear a sound coming from under the car, it's kind of hard to describe but kind of sounds like when the wheels come up/down on an airplane.
What will disconnecting the battery do?
Hey guys, I have a 2015 manual GT. I used to be able to just get into the car with they key fob in my pocket, hold down the clutch, press & hold the start button and start the engine.
Recently I was driving long distance overnight, and pulled over to take a nap. I turned the engine off but...
Hey guys, a little late to the party but didn't get a chance to read through all of the posts in this thread. Do we know what is causing the thud and what can be done to fix it?
Hey guys I have another question that's related. When sitting at the red light, do you guys put the gear in neutral? Or is leaving it in 1st while holding down the clutch okay?
Also in stop and go traffic, when you're crawling at 2mph, what do you do w/o riding the clutch?
Op I was in your position a few weeks ago. Went to the dealership and saw both CO and TY in person. To me it was not even close as the TY definitely popped more and looked much better to me, and it's the color I went with. But everyone will have their own opinions and it seems half the people in...
Well if you don't plan on having kids in the next 5 years then I don't see why not. I'm sure this one will perform better than the old one, but in terms of handling it'll be tough to beat the STI. Won't know for sure until reviews come out.
Well from what you just wrote, it seems like the STI is what you're looking for, especially with how much stiffer they've made it and how well it handles compared to last year's. Get a stage 2 tune and you'll have the power you need.
I think for me the tech included in the Mustang is really attractive. I want the keyless entry/start and LED headlights, but you can't get those options in the WRX unless you go for the Limited trim, which brings you over $30k. I just hope heated seats are included b/c those are so nice to have...
Hey guys, following the discussion on the GT vs the STi, I was wondering what people thought about the little brothers of the two cars?
Mustang:
More HP and Torque, RWD, uses regular gas, looks fantastic. But not as practical as the WRX and won't be as good in rain and snow. Might be faster...
