I have the same issue and am going to get the PCM update. My car has a custom tune, does anyone know if when I get the update and I flash the old tune on, will that overwrite the update?

my car has the same issue now and I was going to get this service done. I also have a custom tune. Anyone know the best way to go about this? Would flashing my tune back on after the update work or would I need to do a scan and send it back to the tuner to update?

5W-50 motorcraft or liqui moly and 15k miles. Plan is to not panic too much until the analysis. Car runs great and doesn’t have any noticeable issues at least.

Reviving this: is it possible to add a thermostatic sandwich plate to the stock oil cooler and with fit the FL-500-S filter without either relocating the filter or removing the stock cooler?
