I have the same issue and am going to get the PCM update. My car has a custom tune, does anyone know if when I get the update and I flash the old tune on, will that overwrite the update?
my car has the same issue now and I was going to get this service done. I also have a custom tune.
Anyone know the best way to go about this? Would flashing my tune back on after the update work or would I need to do a scan and send it back to the tuner to update?
Thanks for the suggestion @WItoTX. I ordered a premium sample kit from SPEEDiagnostix and a dipstick vacuum pump to be certain I have no contamination. My plan is to drive easy with the fresh oil to get some miles on it and send the sample to both Blackstone and SPEEDiagnostix to see what's...
5W-50 motorcraft or liqui moly and 15k miles. Plan is to not panic too much until the analysis. Car runs great and doesn’t have any noticeable issues at least.
I just changed the oil after the car sat for winter, but I see glitter in the drain pan. I do track days roughly 6 times a year and this oil includes my last track day in October. Car ran great and had good oil pressure since I added a Setrab 948 cooler.
I requested a Blackstone sample kit...
Boost isn't ideal for tracks, but it is fun. I have Whipple's stage 1 with the larger heat exchanger, catless long tubes, and race louvers on the hood. After the first track day last year I built a Setrab 948 oil cooler setup to alleviate the heat.
I'm not chasing lap times, but do 6 or 7...
Reviving this: is it possible to add a thermostatic sandwich plate to the stock oil cooler and with fit the FL-500-S filter without either relocating the filter or removing the stock cooler?
Thanks @loucas-2021 and @black22gt. I’m guessing the same. Moisture getting somewhere, I just don’t know where. I’ll look up what sensors I need to check out and go from there. No water in the cabin.
I have a manual 2020 GT and I've noticed twice in the past two months my rev match has stopped working in the rain. Has anyone else experienced this before?
Bit late to this thread, but I’m in Wisconsin where there’s emission testing. Just plugging into the car. Would these allow me to pass if I go catless?
