  1. [Solved]Car takes too long cranking up before starting

Mine does this on occasion, but only when it’s warm and I restart (such as at a gas station). Typically when it happens it’ll crank for 3-4 seconds then run rough for another few seconds then smooth out. Dealer that installed my supercharger couldn’t figure it out. They kept my car for a week...
  2. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

That does sound remarkably similar. And I did just upgrade front and rear sway bars so it stands to reason it may have been part of the problem. It doesn’t seem to have issues after my upgrades were installed. If I can find my list of upgrade parts from the dealer receipt I’ll post it in its...
  3. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

After the upgrade and letting it settle a bit I pushed it up to about 105 a few times and it was solid all the way.
  4. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

That is the conclusion I came too as well after feeling the difference. Oh my upgrade package also included front and rear anti sway bars. Basically I stiffened up everything.
  5. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

During hard acceleration the traction control of course would go off. It is didn’t see or notice much else happening. One theory a friend had was bad TPMS and being different pressures in the rear tires by 8+ psi. He said he had an issue with not tracking correctly and he checked his tires and...
  6. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

Well, the problem is fixed but I’m not entirely sure what it was because I was having some mods done in the process and now it handles just fine. I upgraded the suspension with a steeda active shocks, front and rear sway bars, SVE Sp2 wheels (19x10) and (19x11) with new Michelin ps4s rubber. I...
  7. How safe is it being supercharged?

If a person is too concerned with boost, they can lower about 1.5 - 2 psi with long tube headers while adding a few ponies to boot. It may cause a check engine light without a tune update. I don’t beat on my car either. I’m running Roush stage 2 with their claimed 750 hp crank is probably...
  8. How safe is it being supercharged?

wow. That’s awesome to hear. Did you use a performance shop, dealer or do the upgrades yourself?
  9. How safe is it being supercharged?

23’ GT with roush stage 2 for the last 5k miles. I know it’s early to say this but it has ran flawlessly on the factory tune. I drive spirited but never track it and most pulls are freeway on-ramps and last less than 5 seconds and usually don’t exceed 6000 rpm. I figure if something goes to...
  10. Suspension Mods for a Newbie?

I've got less technical knowledge that most of the posters on here, but my advice to newbies would also be to look into the ford performance street handling pack and track handling pack. I went with the Track Handling pack and it made a world of difference. It's not nearly as "fine tuned" or...
  11. The more I see the S650s, the more I know I've had my last Mustang for the foreseeable future

I drive a 2023 mustang gt. I bought it after looking them over side by side. I know people are all about the lcd screens in cars (the bigger the better) but I purposely bought mine with the classic look (analog gauges) and the fact that I was immediately getting a supercharger (Roush didn’t have...
  12. i want to get the best possible street/race/track handling i can for my 2018 mustang gt pp1

Just an idea….and an opinion. Ford performance track handling pack. Available from American muscle for about $1500 plus install. But as someone else already said there is no such thing as a best…just worry about what makes you happy. You’re the one driving the car. Make sure it’s something...
  13. Sport 4 S. Cold temps, normal driving ?

I’m now in Florida so I don’t really have to worry about this anymore. But I lived in northern states most of my life and I typically swapped out my mps4s (mich super sports before that) with something like continental viking contact or Michelin x-ice. Of course if you live in a. Cold dry...
  14. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

I’m of the same mindset. If my wife’s Subaru is more stable than my mustang at that speed there’s an issue.
  15. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

I didn’t know this to be honest. I should’ve just sprung for the coil over handling kit.
  16. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

Thank you for bringing this up again. It’s still on my mind as a fix I need to pursue. Car is currently in the shop for a different but minor, unrelated issue. But I’m thinking of ordering 11” wheels for the rear to put on it when I get it back. Currently I’m 295 width so a 10” would probably...
  17. S550 mustang floating at high speeds

Doug, No it didn’t have these issues before…not at 85mph anyways. The only issues I had before was the 235 pirellis would spin super easy but there wasn’t any floating that I recall. You make a great point there though. Thank you for contributing
  18. 19” wheel set up limits

Or if you don’t want to say something useful don’t say anything at all.
  19. 19” wheel set up limits

Thank you! Is 305 the optimal width or maximum width for 11” in your opinion. Yes I know I can google it but experience trumps google search.
  20. 19” wheel set up limits

Hey guys so I’m looking to update my wheels from 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. I was looking on steeda and they have a square set up of 19x11 with 55mm offset. I wasn’t sure that would clear in the front. What wheels are you guys running? Anyone with a similar setup who can review it? Thanks...
